Frequently Asked Questions for Mother’s Day Garden Party.

Can I just show up?

No.  Reservations must be guaranteed with an etransfer and are limited. Your reservation guarantees you a bouquet as there are a limited number of flowers. A lot of planning has happened to make your experience unique and exclusive.‍ ‍

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, guests are welcome with a donation to the Stedman Hospice (please make at registration table)  Guests can enjoy the gardens, live music, art exhibit and wildflower stroll with the reservation holder.

What is the inclement weather plan?

The Garden Party will continue regardless of weather but if you choose not to attend, you can redeem your u-pick flower ticket and wildflower stroll at any time during our regular business hours.

Is there parking available?

Yes parking is available on the property and you will be directed upon arrival.  Parking is at the front of the property on the lawn so please be advised it is bumpy and uneven terrain.

Will the 3 Sisters Mercantile be open?

Yes, we will be selling our crafts, honey, eggs, candles and more!  Ready to go bouquets will also be available.

Is Brae Manor Hobby Farm wheel chair accessible?

No. Brae Manor is a working farm and as such there are many natural paths and trails that are bumpy and uneven including the u-pick garden.‍ ‍

Are children welcome?

Children are the reason we celebrate Mother’s Day so YES!  However, the property is a working farm with an open pond, delicate flower beds, roaming chickens and lots going on.  Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Can I bring my dog?

Animals (Exception leashed service animals) are not allowed on the property as we are a working farm.  There will be free ranging chickens and the girls are very stressed by visiting animals.  Our own dogs will remain in the house for the duration of the Garden Party.

Will there be washrooms available?

Yes there will be a composting toilet available.

Is there anything else I should know?

Brae Manor operates under the agri-tourism principles and as such visitors must be aware that it is a working farm.  There are bees, nut trees, chickens, dogs and many other flora, fauna and animals that call the property home.   While we make every effort to make the property as easy to navigate to as we can, pathways and terrain can be uneven. Visitors are solely responsible with regard to allergic reactions etc and ability to navigate property.
